Merry Christmas 2011

CHRISTMAS EVE:
We spent Christmas Eve opening up all our presents because Jake had to work Christmas Day.
The kids had a blast tearing through all those packages
Zach had to help everyone open their presents
 This is his "cheese" face

 Even Jake is excited :)
When Zach opened the Dr. Set he kept going "mommy, mommy look"
 Love this little excited face
All of his "booty" from the night
Madison wasn't too happy I made her sit their to take a picture
Then we HAD to make cookies for Santa
Zach is my good little helper. I even made him a apron (and Madison) so they can help momma

CHRISTMAS MORNING:
Christmas Morning Came and Zach didn't want to wake up. (note this is at 9am)
Madison had fun helping Mommy try to get Zach up to see what SANTA had brought
Madison got her own set of wheels from SANTA
Zachary got his very own Kitchen....He LOVES it
Christmas breakfast was Christmas tree waffles. I dyed the waffles green and made them into a tree shape with a whip cream star on top. (to bad I forgot all about the fresh fruit ornaments....instead they had syrup garland)

We forgot all about our stockings. So after church the kids got to open even MORE presents. (don't mind Zach itching his nose)
Jake came home a little after 4pm, so we were able to have Christmas Dinner together.
We had a wonderful Christmas. It was so fun watching the kids faces when they would open up presents. I can't wait to do it all again next year.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and are wishing you a Happy New Year!

Knotts Berry Farm

We went to Knotts Berry Farm with Jake's parents a couple of weeks ago and had a lot of fun. Nani and Papa even went of some of the rides with us (and not just the kiddie rides).
Zach's face on this airplane ride was so funny. He looked SO mad. The plane was supposed to go up in the air when you pulled on the stick, but his plane didn't. He was VERY disappointed. (the fish ride at sea world always goes up for him and he loves it)
This train ride the kids worked themselves. Well Zach was pushing and pulling on it before she said go, but once she said they could really start moving he didn't push or pull again. The lady had to push him around the entire track.

Zach LOVED the monster trucks. (and so did Jake...he he)

 We LOVE Nani

Riding the small train ride with Nani and Papa. All smiles here
Zach and Madison even went on the Log Ride and they liked it. (despite what the picture shows)
(this picture is from the next week when we went again)

SANTA

At our Ward Christmas Party Santa showed up, so of course we had to get pictures.
Madison disappointed me by not crying. She just sat there very unsure....but NO tears.

Zachary was unsure also, but he sat there anyway
FINALLY when we get a family shot is when Madison starts to cry. She saw Mommy right there and she wanted me. Well at least I got one crying picture
We will see if she will cry when we see Santa again!

Falling Leaves

We have a big tree in our front yard that is losing all it's leaves and Zach is LOVING it.
Every night after Jake gets home and we have dinner, Zach wants to go outside to not only look at the Christmas lights, but to have his daddy make him a Big pile of leaves

Running through the leaves is so much fun

Dumping a big pile of leaves on Madison's head is also a lot of fun

It's raining leaves

Zach wanted to get me with leaves

Diving in them is also fun

Madison wasn't too sure
 Cute little squirts
 Having TOO much FUN
Each night the pile just keeps getting bigger and bigger

My little Indians

So I'm a little late getting this up, but I wanted to share what my cute kiddos were dressed up as on Thanksgiving.
These are my CUTE little Indians.
I borrowed Madison's outfit from a friend and made Zach's! (the night before)

Here is a Turkey craft we made with the kids hand prints
This was my Thanksgiving Mantel. I made the wreath, but bought the give thanks from vinylnthings.blogspot.com
We had a really good thanksgiving even though we didn't have Jake with us. That's ok because we had our own little thanksgiving together a week later.

The Pumpkin Patch

The Pumpkin Patch at Live Oak Canyon

They had these cute hand painted pictures to take pictures with

Jumping off Hay is always fun

The Petty Zoo was fun. Tons of baby goats.

Jake always had a gang of goats around him demanding his food

Madison was OK with the small goats, but whenever a big one would come around I had to pick her up

Pumpkins just her size

Wheelbarrow rides are the best

Zach and Jake went on the Quad Train ride
Zach loved it

We had a lot of fun at this pumpkin patch. They had so much to do. Will be going to this one again next year
