Peep Smores

If you know me, then you know I LOVE Peeps.

The marshmellowy goodness covered in colored sugar.....What's not to love!

So when I saw that you could make Peep Smores I was on top of it.

The funny thing is that the kids didn't even finish their smores. They said they tasted good, but they were too messy and wanted to be cleaned up

Dye Easter Eggs....Dye!!!!

Zach's first year dyeing Easter Eggs. He had so much fun being the one to do it all.

(of course you have to wear your protective apron with messy things)

 Be careful now and don't spill.....that's what I kept telling him

 We did Marble Eggs so you had to bring some of the dye on top of the egg first and swish it around before submerging it

 They didn't turn out as well as they could because I didn't use vinegar. The box didn't say to.

Next year we will have brighter eggs because I'm using vinegar no matter what

Easter Crafts

I didn't do a ton of Easter Crafts. What I did do all fit on my mantel. Of course I had other decorations around, all store bought. Even had my bunny collection I had when I was a little girl out on display. (just located it this year in my parents shed)

The first 3 decorations I did with my sister. Zach helped me out by painting some of the wood, but when it came time to decorating them, he was having too much fun with his cousins to come help.

(steve because "it's a nice name".....from the movie Over the Hedge)

This wreath I mad using fuzzy green yarn and some speckled eggs I found at Joann's

"Candy" Necklaces

2 days ago we make some "candy" necklaces. Using Applejacks and Yarn. I wouldn't recommend using yarn. I had to burn the ends otherwise it frayed really badly.

 The kids LOVED them.

Eating them was the BEST part.

Will have to do this again soon.....maybe next time with Fruitloops

St. Patty's Day

St. Patrick's Day was kinda low key this year, but we were in our Green.

We followed the rainbow and found 2 pots of GOLD.

 With GOLD coins inside

 And they sure tasted good

(even if they still had the wrappers on)
