After a number of months of having the letters cut out we finally put them up on the wall. Now Zach can know this is his room!

Car Seats are Toys?

Zach really likes to play with his car seat lately. He puts his toys in there and then tries to fish them out. Silly little Boy.

Playtime with Daddy

The smallest things make Zach laugh. All Jake had to do was put a straw in his mouth and Zach thought it was the funniest thing.

Hungry?

Eat a cup!

He can fit the smallest of his staking cups in his mouth and he likes to do it all the time! Good thing it has a lip on it otherwise I think he would shove it all the way down his throat.

Just Say No

Zach just started shaking his head all the time for a while. It was even cuter because we would ask him something like "do you have a dirty diaper" and he would shake his head no. Here is a video of him being oh so cute!

Mr. Elephant

Zach loves his Big Elephant. It's almost as big as he is.

They also like to sleep together!

And the Elephant likes to tackle him!
He's not allowed to sleep with Mr. Elephant anymore since we found him being smothered by it. Poor little guy couldn't breath.

I made these for our Newest neighbors a few weeks ago as a "Welcome to the Neighborhood"

My Niece Emily's 5th Birthday Cake

In preparation for making the Fairy cake for my niece I needed to make a whole lot of flowers out of Royal Icing. About 300 flowers. I also made tree's out of sugar cones and royal icing. With a baby this took a couple of days to complete. There were pink, yellow, blue, teal, purple, peach, Burgundy and white flowers. Below is the preparation pictures.

Then came the day to actually make the cake. I had to use 5 cake mixes and double each layer to get the effect that I wanted. I know that's a lot of cake right, but my brother-in-law said to bring it on. It was filled with Strawberry filling. Problems I encountered that day were the following: In my haste I made the frosting a little too thin so I had trouble frosting at first, I forgot to put frosting between the top and bottom layer so the cake was very wobbly and I ended up having to put supports in the cake, I forgot to bring my nice cake leveler from home and so the top layer was a tiny bit off. Driving from my parents house to my sister's house was a nightmare. There were so many hills and bumps. It was so hot that day that when I arrived to my sister's house and took the cake out of the car, the frosting had melted off the cake in places and i had to fix it (and it never looked the same)!

Emily Loved her cake. (even though it was falling apart) All the kids thought it was super cool, and Me, well I was pretty happy with it as well.

P.S - There ended up being 216 flowers on the cake!

My First Package

Zach got a package in the mail that was addressed just to him. He was very excited to open it.

And what was it you ask?

His very own cups to stack. He loves playing with his cups.

Daddy likes playing with his cups too.

And Zach likes to knock them Down!

Poor Turtle never had a chance!
