This is what happens when you don't take a Nap!

You fall asleep in your dinner!

Zach hasn't been wanting to take naps lately. I'm just not ready for the no nap stage. He's only 20 months and he STILL needs his nap (even if he doesn't think so)

"It's a Girl" Baby Shower

I almost forgot to take pictures of my baby shower. Below are some I managed to snap. I just wish I would have taken more. It was all super cute thanks to Rachel, Laura and Shanin!!

I got to the food too late. It was already half eaten, but you get the idea!

Big Boy Room

Zach is LOVING his Big Boy Room

His theme is Cars, Trucks, Planes and Trains
He loves his comforter. When we first got it he would lay it out and bring over his cars or trains to play on it.

We still need to put some pictures on the walls. We want to take pictures of Zach on a Tractor, in a Plane, etc.

We got little decal cut outs and put them up as a border.

When Zach saw them he kept pointing up at them and saying "Truck"

I'm so glad Zach Loves his room. He sleeps better than he ever did when in his crib.We still have to lay down next to him when he is going to sleep, but I hope that ends soon. It's only been a week and he has slept the entire night except 2 nights. (one was because he was sick and having a coughing attack)

With how good he has been sleeping I am wishing we would have moved him in there sooner.

Chasing Chickens!

Zach had so much funny at Nani and Papa's house chasing around their chickens.

Poor chickens.

I LOVE Bows!

Look what my Amazing Husband made for me!

It's a Hair bow Board.

All the pretty flowers and bows our little girl has so far
I showed him what I wanted and got all the materials, then he put it altogether. Yes I could have done it myself, but Jake is so much better and precise about these kind of things.

Now all we have to do is hang it on the wall.
(P.S. I can always fit more on there...hint hint)

First Bubble Bath

Zach was loving playing in the bubbles from washing the car that I thought it was time to give him a bubble bath. At first he didn't even want to get in. When i put him in he was very unsure and didn't want to sit down. After I made him sit he started to cry. It was a little funny. After a minute or two he calmed down and then started to really enjoy himself.

Wait this is fun!

He's so good about getting in and out of the bath, but when it was time to get out he really didn't want to.

Dana Point

Tuesday we went to enjoy Dana Point. Although the weather was Bright, Hot and Sunny in Hemet it was just the opposite at the Beach. It was overcast and windy. We didn't even get Zach dressed in his swim suit.

So instead of going to the beach area, we went to the bay instead. We had fun watching the waves crash on the rocks and looking at all the boats.

There we a lot of boats passing by and Zach was enjoying it. One of his favorite books right now is a Sailing book he got from his cousin Jake's birthday party.
Zach tried to FEED the pigeons rocks. He saw them pecking at the ground and eating stuff so he thought they were just eating the little rocks.

He enjoyed chasing them around.

Instead of enjoying the actual beach we had fun enjoying the coastline. We drove on Pacific Coast Hwy to enjoy the view and checked out all the million dollar homes.

1st Time to the Beach . . . . This YEAR

We were excited to take Zach to the beach. When we got there it was overcast and kind of cold, but that didn't stop us.

Zach got his Sand Toys and was ready to go. Except one problem. He didn't care too much for the sand.

But Started to get the hang of it.

He loved the park at the beach
And had a blast on the swings

We will try again next time to get him to love the beach.

(He didn't care much for the water either.)

1st Day of Summer

On the First Day of Summer we had to Celebrate by getting in the pool!

OK so Zach and his friend Michale got in a tiny pool

In the Front Yard!

That's right the front yard. It's the only place we have grass and thought it would be nicer for the kids.

(Normally we just have Zach in his pool on the patio in the back yard.)

Then the boys got to go for a wagon ride around the block.

We each took turns pulling.

They had a lot of fun.

We ended the day doing some BBQ!

Fun with Cousins

This last picture is deceiving. Koda never lets Zach sit on her, but was letting Jake sit on her all day. Zach tried it and actually got on her. I was amazed that Koda stayed. Then all of the sudden she gets up and Zach goes right over her and head first into the concrete. Not Fun.

At least the rest of the day was fun. Zach got to play with his cousins Sam and Jake and he didn't want them to leave.
