So Happy!

So there is another house for sale right near us and i'm the happiest women alive now. It's the people that we have wanted to move out since we got there. The kids just leave trash everywhere. All over the streets and in people's yards it's just not right. They are also always outside which is fine, but they are always in the street blocking it and won't move out of the way very quickly. So if i were buying a home and drove down our neiborhood i'd keep driving.
I know what your thinking well they won't move out too quickly cuz they have to sell their house first right . . . Wrong! They are renters so i'm sure the owners gave them a notice so they can fix up the house to sell it. And i'm sure it needs a lot of fixing seeing how they trash the outside! So in hopefully either 30 days or 60 days depending on the notice we should have a clean street.
I'm also looking forward to the kids not ringing my doorbell all the time and asking for weird stuff. Yeah they don't ask for thinks like sugar and flour it things like lightblubs and duct tape (for their baby. . . still wondering what they were going to do to the baby with duct tape??) and cation tape and wood . . . and then there's normal things like a rake or hammer. We let them borrow stuff when we first moved in, but they either didn't bring it back (like glue) or they didn't treat it very nice so we just started saying no to everthing they wanted to borrow.
Jake says it's not so great cuz they will be another house on our street for sale and empty, but i think that might be a great thing.
So now we will have the house to the right of us empty and for sale, the house across the street and one over to the left empty and for sale and now hopefully soon the house across the street one over to the right empty and for sale! It might start to look like we are the problem though! Hopefully not!

Preggers!

So I'm not this far along, but it was a fun picture to take. My due date is January 18, 2009. This picture we took to send to my sister Lori on her cell phone, but then when we called she said all text messages were blocked. So much for that idea! Here's to being 9 weeks 2 days along! Only 215 more days to go!

Before and After

We have spent a lot of time trying to remodel our house over the past two years and here's some before and after pic's to prove it. We are very happy with what we have accomplished!

What our house looks like now. We painted it and put in new plants and put in a bench ....that's just the front yard!

Now the BACKYARD!

Our Yard used to be just bark. EVERYWHERE! So we took out the bark along with so many truck loads of dirt and brought in new good dirt and made what you see below!

Now we have nice plants and grass that we can go out and enjoy! A new fence is the next thing we hope to do back here!

Here is our lovely kitchen when we first moved in. This is Laurie and Ben's handywork. Don't worry they didn't want it that color either, but once they were done painting they didn't want to do it again.

Check out those floors and the cabinets. Lovely don't you think. Now this is what we did with it.

We refaced the cabinets, added an island, painted of course, put in track lighting and a fan. We also put in all new tile. So much better!

Last big thing was our fireplace. Have a look!

We thought at first just to paint and try to make it look nicer.....but after a while we did what you see below.

We ended up doing a lot more, but i don't have the pictures to show. We got new carpet and baseboards, all new interior and exterior doors, molding, painted everyroom, re-did the bathrooms completly, etc etc. I could keep going on, but i won't bore you. It's not only the big things, but also the little things that make a huge difference. We aren't completly done yet, we still have to save up some more do do the rest! We are so proud of our home!

Kendel and Roxy

So we brought the dogs with us to my parents house over the weekend and my nephew Kendel had a blast with them. He would not leave Roxy alone for a second. He always was calling her name or picking her up. At first he was picking her up and trying to throw her. I had to put a stop to that, but he continued to pick her up over and over. Poor Roxy. I bet she was sooooo tired of that little boy by the end of the day. At least we are getting her kid trained. Koda already was kid trained and we were curious how Roxy would do even though we knew she would never bite them, but now we know for sure!

Tornando Watch

I can't believe we had a tornando hit in Riverside County. Knocked over a big truck and overturned some railway cars. CRAZY STUFF. Acutally a couple touched down on. I didn't think we were in Kansas .

Why do i get stuck with the garbage!

So my dogs got into the trash either this morning or last night. All I know is when i walked out there to feed them their was trash everywhere. They shredded it all. Luckily they didn't get a ton of it out of the trash can. There was a beef jerky bag that was all over the yard. I'm sure they licked it clean. I had fun picking that all up before I left for work. I kept telling them they were bad dogs, but they didn't listen much!

So here is me with my cute little nephews and niece that live here in CA. I have a lot more elsewhere that i don't see much. I love playing with the ones i do see. They are a blast. I only don't have a picture of Baby Jake and me! (almost all of these were taken with my cell phone)

So i thought i would display some of the incredible pic's my sister took while in Hawaii. I so wanted to go and was very jealous! Doesn't she take good pictures.

In&Out is crazy!

So i was at my sister’s house last weekend and we deceided to grap some In&Out for lunch. So we drive there and are waiting in the drive-through when all of the sudden everyone starts leaving. Ok this In&Out parking lot was already small and the line for the drive through goes right through it. We had 3 different cars trying to back up almost at the same time. We had one that started to and we were like AHHHH they are going to hit the car, but they didn’t and then it happened again and again. It was so crazy. A truck was going to do it also, but we finally had enough room to move past that truck so we did before they could back up into us. They instead got to scare the people behind us. Crazy ordeal! Remind me not to go to that In & Out again!
