No Cooties Please!

Zach met his cousin Megan over the weekend and I guess he thinks girls have cooties! All she wants to do is cuddle!

FINALLY!!

Starting yesterday Zach is finally letting us put him in his swing without screaming his head off. I hope this continues and that he ends up loving his swing.

Roxy has wanted to get close to Zach since the moment we brought him home and she heard him cry. Our poor dogs have had to observe Zach from a distance . . . until now. Jake brought Roxy in for a better look and Roxy now thinks she's a baby too.





She laid like that and stayed for a very long time. She didn't even want to get up when we told her too. I guess she figures if she lays like Zach then she'll get as much attention as him too. Sorry Roxy!!

3 weeks old!

Sleep deprived

You know you haven't had enough sleep when your husband looks for the taquitos in the freezer, but finds them inside the cabinet where the paper plates go! I really don't remember putting them there!!

2 weeks Old!!

I can't believe our baby is 2 weeks old today! Time sure does fly! The last two weeks have been interesting. we are adjusting to our new life with little Zach. He is such a blessing to have! His sleep patterns are interesting! He doesn't like to let mommy sleep really much from 9pm - 2am, but we are surviving! Last night he slept in his swing for half the night, while I was on the couch. During the day he usually sleeps great and has been staying awake for longer periods of time . . .that is until today! He has just wanted to be held and cry for most all the morning. Hopefully this isn't the new Zach! I still count my blessings each moment (even if those moments aren't very fun) that Zachary is in our lives!

Welcome Zachary Edward Jenson

Zachary was born Thursday, January 8th, at 1:18am. He was 9 pounds 4.6 ounces and 20 inches long. We arrived at Kaiser at midnight and Zach was born 1 hour and 18 minutes later. When we arrived at the hospital Mandy was already at a 10 + 1, meaning no epidural.
